Our Story
Hank Fields opened Hank's Smoked Briskets in 2004 on Indianapolis's near-northwest side with a simple promise: bring authentic Texas-style pit BBQ — slow-smoked over real wood — to the heartland.
More than twenty years later, Hank still takes orders personally, and every rack of ribs, every brisket, every sausage link is still treated like it's the only one going out that day. That obsessive care shows: over 800 five-star-leaning Google reviews and counting.
The pit crew is family, the recipes are Texas-true, and the community on MLK Drive has made Hank's their own. Full-service catering is handled by Terri Edwards and Mrs. Brenda — backyard cookouts, office lunches, Fourth of July bashes, all of it.
